AWD is the evolution of a business started by Dave Philp in 2001 after his work caught the eye of several local businesses in Melbourne's outer east. Being only 14 years of age at the time, Dave quickly became one of Australia's youngest entrepreneurs, building his business from a single-man operation to the successful company it is today.
We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Skylake Networks Pty Ltd, an Australian company specializing in information and communications technologies. The business has registered offices in Melbourne and Cairns, and will be rolling out more offices over the next five years – with goals to open offices in each of the major capital cities in Australia, and to also bring opportunity to the smaller communities of regional areas. The feasibility of overseas expansion is also being investigated.
Our success can be attributed to our philosophy of providing total web solutions, rather than just website design.
